Costa del Sol
Costa del Sol on the southern tip of Spain has been a favourite with tourists for decades, and we live up to the name “Coast of the Sun” – with an average of 300 days sunshine per year and 160km’s of sandy beaches.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as lots of sports facilities and theme parks.
Plus with over 30 courses it’s known as “Costa del Golf” for those who love the game.
The tourist centres of Benalmadena , Fuengirola, Malaga and Torremolinos are all a short transfer from the regions airport, which is just outside Malaga. And as they’re all linked up by both the N-340 highway and a picturesque costal road it’s easy to get around.
If a boat trip takes your fancy then there is a brand ports in Malaga, Benalmadena or the harbour of Port Banus in Marbella - where you can spend the day dreaming about owning one of the millionaire yachts before sampling its famous nightlife.
Away from the beach you can visit nearby cities like Ronda, Cordoba, Nerja, Granada and idyllic Mijas – each of which has its special atmosphere, history and tourist sights.
For the more adventurous there’s the surfing paradise of Tarifa Cadiz or why not leave Spain entirely with a trip to the British territory of Gibraltar. You can even spend the day in Africa by taking the 90min ferry from Malaga to Tangier in Morocco.
Costa del Sol can cater for whatever type of holiday you need. Families, couples, friends or solo travellers will all have plenty to do, but if that all that sounds too hectic then just sit back and relax in the sunshine.
So come and pay us a visit. The Coast of the Sun is waiting for you!
